Minneapolis, MN – With Minnesota’s 10-day Super Bowl festival just days away, the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee and the Loppet Foundation announced a full schedule of outdoor winter activities that will take place on the American Birkiebeiner Bridge at Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon. Everything from snow tubing to cross-country skiing to fat biking will be available to the public on the Loppet Trail spanning across the American Birkiebeiner Bridge at Nicollet Mall and 9th Street. Spectators and participants alike will enjoy a full lineup of daily winter programming, brought to Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon by the Loppet Foundation and industry partners including Penn Cycle, Finn Sisu, and others.

“We are going all in on winter events this year. The City of Lakes Loppet Festival has grown to become a winter staple in Minneapolis, and we’re thrilled to give Super Bowl fans a sampling of how we do things in the Bold North through this partnership,” said John Munger, Executive Director of the Loppet Foundation.

“Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon is our opportunity to showcase the best of Minnesota,” said Maureen Bausch, CEO of the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee. “We are thrilled to partner with the Loppet Foundation and the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation to welcome our visitors and celebrate winter, football, and fun in the Bold North.”
