Schedule release for Loppet Trail at Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon – ten days of winter fun
The Loppet Foundation bringing public demos, races, and more to the American Birkiebeiner Bridge at Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon
Minneapolis, MN – With Minnesota’s 10-day Super Bowl festival just days away, the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee and the Loppet Foundation announced a full schedule of outdoor winter activities that will take place on the American Birkiebeiner Bridge at Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon. Everything from snow tubing to cross-country skiing to fat biking will be available to the public on the Loppet Trail spanning across the American Birkiebeiner Bridge at Nicollet Mall and 9th Street. Spectators and participants alike will enjoy a full lineup of daily winter programming, brought to Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon by the Loppet Foundation and industry partners including Penn Cycle, Finn Sisu, and others.

The City of Lakes Loppet Festival has grown to become a winter staple in Minneapolis, and we’re thrilled to give Super Bowl fans a sampling of how we do things in the Bold North through this partnership,” said John Munger, Executive Director of the Loppet Foundation.
“Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon is our opportunity to showcase the best of Minnesota,” said Maureen Bausch, CEO of the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee. “We are thrilled to partner with the Loppet Foundation and the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation to welcome our visitors and celebrate winter, football, and fun in the Bold North.”
The full schedule is available online at (loppet.org/SBLive). Pre-registration is required to participate in events. Those interested in snow tubing, cross-country skiing, or fat biking on Loppet Trail can simply sign up online, present their confirmation to a Loppet Trail staff, and gear up for some good old-fashioned winter fun in the Bold North.
The winter activities taking place at the Loppet Trail on the American Birkiebeiner Bridge are part of the winter fun happening at Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon. The ten-day, free and open to the public festival will also include concerts at the VerizonUp stage, larger-than-life ice sculptures, and more.
